For the past few weeks in music, we have been working on performing the 'Say Something' music piece. My partner, Miray, and I have been practicing not only the Chorus but also the semi-chorus. I chose to work in partners due to the fact that I'm incapable of playing the melody and the chords at the same time. So, I finally chose to work with Miray and decided that I would play the chords and she would play the melody. We tried different techniques to keep us both in sync and one of the successful ones were singing along with the music. Counting also helped us stay in tune to one another. I didn't understand chords last year, however, this year I am confident in mentioning the different chords and identifying what minor and major notes are.

Nada,
You and your partner demonstrated good ability in playing 'Say Something', showing how chords and melody fit together. Your timing was pretty good as was your accuracy of pitch.
To improve you should develop the smoothness of your playing so there are no hesitations between the changing of chords and the so the melody flows better. You also need to demonstrate your ability to put L.H. and R.H. together by yourself. Criteria B (Skills): 7/8
